Shroud grew popular with his heroics in the Counter-Strike: GO tournaments several years ago. He was the ace of his team and carried them to several close title wins during his reign. But recently, Shroud has stepped down from professional gaming and focused more on streaming his gameplays on Twitch. He is undoubtedly the best PUBG player in the world and arguably the best on Youtube.
After stepping down from professional gaming, Shroud became fully focused on Twitch streaming and brought in thousands of streamers with his amazing skills. That being said, fans have always wondered which gaming accessories the veteran player uses. Today we’ll be looking at one accessory in particular: Shroud’s headset. So, without any further delay let’s begin:
What Headphones Does Shroud Use?
The popular CS:GO and PUBG player is known for his impressive reflexes and reaction time, which has propelled him to the level he’s at today. Well, the headset that’s made it all possible is the HyperX Cloud Flight as mentioned on his Twitch page. Now, let’s dive into a detailed review of this product:
HyperX Cloud Flight
Wireless headsets and peripherals, in general, get a bad rap due to connectivity issues. Lower test rates, issues with surveying, or even just strange glitches are a portion of the grievances most people have. Fortunately, the HyperX Cloud Flight doesn’t have any of these issues, which is great because it also costs a fortune!
As should be obvious from the specs, the sound quality is out of this world. Taking a gander at its battery life (all things considered, this is a wireless set), you’ll get decent mileage after a charge, at around 30 hours with the volume half. Fortunately, in case you’re the sort of individual who forgets to turn their devices off, the headset shuts off automatically when it doesn’t detect movement.
As far as the Cloud Flight’s design goes, its frame fits firmly on the head. Since this is intended to be utilized as a wireless headset, HyperX has made the fit a lot tighter, with the headband putting a touch of weight onto its smallish earcups. Try not to give that let that put you off, though! After heavy usage, most people say the weight is hardly noticeable.
The HyperX Cloud Flight’s earcups are very well-insulated. With the volume up, you won’t hear any surrounding commotion or outside sounds–however, with the volume down you could easily carry on a discussion if you needed to.
All things considered, this an incredible headset. If you don’t mind spending a few more bucks than usual, this headset will do the trick. On the other hand, if you don’t want to spend a load of money on gaming accessories then we would suggest you look for a cheaper option. Now you know everything there is to know about the headset Shroud uses.
